History

F.R.I.D.A.Y. was offset installed into the Marking 45 in the Avengers Belfry. The conform schematic changed from red to blue showing that she had been uploaded successfully. During the battle, she gave Tony abiding updates on the situation and ran the numbers to theorize his plan for a oestrus seal to destroy Novi Grad.

Captain America Civil War

During the Avengers' Civil War, FRIDAY connected her function in the Marker 46, informing Tony of the injuries he sustained from Wanda Maximoff's attack and warning him that Scott Lang had breached the suit before removing Emmet-Homo via fire retardant foam. When Rhodes was injured, she apace contacted emergency medical personnel to assist him.

She later gave Stark an update that revealed Helmut Zemo was behind everything which prompted him to help Barnes and Rogers. When the 3 engaged in battle, she connected to update Stark on the damage sustained by the armor during the fight. When information technology became clear that Stark could not beat Rogers in hand to paw combat, he had Friday clarify the latter's fighting pattern for weaknesses. One time she did, Stark brought Rogers downwards in seconds but ultimately lost the fight due to a lark by Barnes.

Afterwards at the Compound, FRIDAY informed Tony that Ross was calling him.

Spider-Human Homecoming

Before Infinity War

In the R&D lab of the New Avengers Facility, F.R.I.D.A.Y. aided Tony in running battle tests on his new Marker L suit, testing out the unit's response fourth dimension to defend him against sudden attacks ranging from concrete blows to energy blasts. The tests were interrupted when she informed Tony that Maria Hill was there to see him.

Infinity War

When Ebony Maw and Choose Obsidian arrived in New York City to learn the Time Rock from Doctor Strange. Unaware of what was occurring, Tony Stark asked F.R.I.D.A.Y. what was happening. She responded that she was working on finding out.

With Doc Strange captured by Ebony Maw and taken aboard his ship, and Peter Parker hanging on the outside and running out of oxygen, Tony Stark followed in an attempt to rescue the Sorcerer Supreme and Spider-Man. In gild to catch up to the transport, Tony asked F.R.I.D.A.Y. for "a little juice". The plan answered by uniting the propulsors in the Iron Human being suit, allowing Stark to gain considerable distance. When the ship almost exited the atmosphere, Stark told F.R.I.D.A.Y. to send the Iron Spider Armor to catch Peter. After the suit successfully fastened to Parker'southward torso, Stark told F.R.I.D.A.Y. to send Spider-Man back to Earth. She responded by activating the parachute of the Atomic number 26 Spider Suit.

Once inside the send, Tony was contacted by Pepper Potts only quickly lost connection with both her and F.R.I.D.A.Y. due to the increasing range, thus making F.R.I.D.A.Y. unable to assist Tony farther.

Time Heist

five years afterward, Tony Stark was back with the Avengers and Blob was going to snap his fingers to bring the trillions that got snapped abroad by Thanos, Tony Stark ordered F.R.I.D.A.Y to activate barn door protocol, because of the nano gauntlets energy.

Abilities

Fri'southward abilities seem to be an upgraded version of J.A.R.V.I.Due south.' She is fully capable of controlling Iron Man suits besides every bit assisting Tony in their operation and controlling whole vehicles, like her predecessor, but she displays new abilities likewise. She is capable of monitoring the entire internet, able to easily hack into government databases, partially override the Raft's security systems and clarify fighting styles for weaknesses to exploit.

FRIDAY first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron as Tony Stark's replacement A.I for the Battle of Sokovia.

Fri is the film version of the comic graphic symbol "Friday", an A.I hologram developed by Tony Stark to exist his secretary. The name is derived from the antiquated American slang term "Girl Fri" referring to a female person secretary or assistant. The term itself is a reference to the character "Fri" from the novel Robinson Crusoe.

FRIDAY has an Irish accent contrasting JARVIS' English one.
Compared to JARVIS, FRIDAY seems far more reserved when information technology comes to the other Avengers willing to talk merely to, and take orders from, Tony.
